Hello everyone, Hope you’ve had a great week in Jesus name!

As always, Sunday was great and gathering with God’s people was such a blessing!

Well, we learned in Sunday’s message about LOVE “not being easily angered” along with some of the things that come along with LOVE! We also learned about the things that should not accompany LOVE! You see GOD is LOVE and we must understand that reverence of His name is at risk when we begin to accept the world’s version of LOVE!

Have you ever thought about how anger prevents not only “you loving others” but also “others loving you!” So, What’s LOVE got to do with it?

Church… LOVE is not filled with anger but it’s actually filled with kindness and grace! LOVE is a reflection of the heart…and ANGER is also a reflection of the heart!

ANGER, (by the way, I just put this word in all caps again to draw our attention to the importance of this word) is like a thief waiting to steal the opportunity for us to receive LOVE as well as for us to give LOVE! Must we not forget… LOVE, must be unconditional or else it’s not LOVE!

Most are familiar with the story of Joseph and Mary. Joseph, the carpenter and Mary, a teenager still living under her parent’s roof barely had one conversation before they were set to be married. Joseph’s decision to stay beside Mary would be very unpopular according to today’s standards.

This story is a great example of LOVE not being easily angered!

Mary and Joseph chose to LOVE in spite of the conditions of this situation! If this event were in today’s world, this type of LOVE that Joseph showed for Mary would be laughed at! Most couples throw stones at each other once they feel betrayed. Many times it’s through their lawyers in divorce court. Even though it would seem laughable why Joseph would still take Mary to be his wife, there is a great message for today’s culture that is real and revolutionary. “LOVE IS NOT EASILY ANGERED!”

So, here’s the intriguing part of the story for me…instead of Joseph reacting in ANGER, he chose to react in LOVE!

You see church, Joseph and Mary both chose Faith over Fear!

As I’ve been sharing all this month, LOVE is an amazing thing and is often misunderstood!

Joseph’s trial of finding out his fiancée was pregnant can be found in Matthew 1 where Mary and Joseph’s reactions are recorded!

Look at verse 24…“When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.

This is where LOVE takes over instead of anger due to the nature of this news! Mary’s reaction was certainly amazing as well! She says these words in the 1st chapter of Luke. “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.”

LOVE is our answer to the questions we have each day! As the beautiful song put it…LOVE has a name… Jesus!

Please pray with me this week as we conclude our new series titled “What’s LOVE got to do with it?”

This final message is about the fact that, “LOVE never fails!”

Mrs Kandy and I are praying for you and your family everyday

I can’t wait to see your smiling faces this Sunday!
