Our Staff Members
The staff at First Baptist Church Vincent has spent many years commited to Christian service. Our staff enjoys serving our community, whether in sharing our faith or just lending a helping hand. Here are a few of First Baptist Church Vincent's staff members, starting with Dr. Darryl Wood:

Dr. Darryl Wood (Pastor) 
Darryl Wood came to First Baptist Church in April, 2008. His pastoral experience includes service to churches in Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana that spans thirty-four years. A native of Decatur, Alabama, Darryl received his education at Samford University (B.A.) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div. and Th.D.).
Marcie, Darryl's wife, teaches school in Pell City. they have two grown children. neil is married to Laura Lee and Tyler is married to Jessica. The Woods are proud grandparents to Oliver.
Darryl enjoys being a pastor. His pastimes are writing and walking.

Rev. Harrell Sinclair (Interim Minister of Music)
Harrell has a long history with Alabama Baptists and has served many churches during his years in the music ministry. He and his wife, Joy, live in Hoover, Alabama and are the parents of two grown children.

Judy Henderson (Music Associate)
Judy joins the FBC Vincent staff to assist Darryl and Harrell in all phases of the music ministry. Judy currently directs the Bell Choir and Ladies Ensemble.

Chris Alfaro (Youth Minister)
Chris is a junior at Samford University in Birmingham. He is majoring in sports medicine and political science. Chris was born in Costa Rica and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. He enjoys young people. Chris aspires to disciple youth through small groups.

Mrs. Floyce Sumners (Administrative Assistant)
The friendly voice you hear when calling FBC Vincent is that of Mrs. Floyce Summners. Floyce has been Administrative Assistant at the church since November 1999.

Pat Barber (Acting Preschool Director)
