Message Truth: The Holy Spirits life is not for observation but participation. It is an invitation to come and become.
Message Text: John 7:1-37

The Heart as a Vessel: Just like a sealed jar cannot catch falling rain, a closed or prideful heart cannot take in spiritual renewal.
The Act of Surrender: In John 4, the Samaritan woman at the well literally left her water jar behind to embrace Jesus’ message, symbolizing an open and changed life.
Believing and Drinking: According to John 7:37-39, Jesus invites the thirsty to come and drink, explaining that this living water is the Holy Spirit given to those who believe.
The Story
“Do you see what Lewis is saying? When you come to the water, you are coming to a Lion, you must come on the Lion’s terms, and you have to yield yourself by faith in order to get the water. Some of us need to realize that we are thirsty, that we need that water so badly that we are going to die without it. We need to step out on faith, yielding to the Lion of the tribe of Judah, and receive the water of eternal life. THE SATISFYING RESULTS (vv. 38-39) “Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him [“ out of his belly,” KJV].” (v. 38)

Different kinds of faith
1.False faith- assentia
2.Demonic- Noticia
3.Real Faith – fiducia
- Flowing Faith – you become a healer, a conduit not a Dam. Not just observation but participation. Saved – Satisfied-Sent
They went to arrest him but was arrested by the word and power.
God knows your future better than you know your past – Trust when referred to God is always positive (batah) when used toward man is negative.
