Dear Church members and friends,
During this unprecedented time of caution and sacrifice by so many of our fellow Americans, we will maintain a view of positive expectations based on our faith and willingness to be a part of the solution. In the near future, we will be able to resume our congregating together to worship; the sooner, the better.

This virus is temporary, and we all should continue to pray for our church, our communities, and our country and do whatever we can to serve and keep one another safe. Our charge as Christians, however, is permanent and ongoing.

We urge you to faithfully continue your generosity and keep up to date with your faithful giving. The expenses of our Church and our ministries are for the glory of Christ, and do not stop just because we can’t meet personally for a time. You can drop off your tithes and offerings in the office lobby in the box on the table between 9am to 2pm Monday through Friday, or mail it to First Baptist Church, P O Box 43 Vincent, AL 35178. Or you can donate via PayPal, but there is a fee to the church for PayPal.

We have much to look forward to in the coming days. We are blessed to have Robbie Weems and his family join us, and he will begin on April 5th; his message will be streamed live on Facebook until we can meet again in the sanctuary. Shortly thereafter, we will begin our search in earnest for a worship leader/Minister of Music and for our Minister of Outreach.

Great things are ahead for our Church, and for God’s plans for us. Stay safe, and we will again meet together as soon as possible.
From the Deacons,
Ray McAallister chairman
