God’s Word ➡️ Faith ➡️Obedience ➡️ God’s Presence ➡️ Prospering (being pushed forward, moved along the road)

  1. Hunger For a Have A High View Of God And His Word

“This is what the Lord says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be? 2 Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being?” declares the Lord. “These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word.” Isaiah 66:1-2

How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Psalm 119:103

“Like new born babies. Long for the pure milk of the Word, that by it you may grow in respect to salvation.” 1 Peter 2:2

  • Attitude“Like newborn babies” – Just as a baby grabs for the bottle, so grab for the Word
  • Appetite“long for the pure ilk of the Word” -taste can always be cultivated.
  • Aim“buy it (word) you may grow”The Bible was written not to satisfy your curiosity but to help you conform to Christ’s image. Not to make you a smarter sinner but to make you like the Savior. Not to fill your head with a collection of biblical facts but to transform your life.”

      2. Have Enough Of A High View Of the Word To Do It

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:8-11

The greatness of a man’s power is the measure of his surrender.” – William Booth
