Ministry Role & Responsibility: Minister of Music
About Me: I was born and raised in the state of Maine and moved to Alabama in the late 80’s. I am married to Lynda and we have two children, Sammy and LJ. I worked as a drug court case manager from 2015 – 2020, where I helped assist people with criminal charges who were offered treatment for their addictions as an alternative for jail time. In 2018 I became involved with a Celebrate Recovery (CR) group and have led CR since 2019. While serving as a leader in CR, I realized the call to ministry and am passionate about helping people find healing in their lives through faith in Jesus Christ. I earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Falkner University in 2015 and a master’s degree in Christian Ministry from Carolina University in 2022. I began serving as the Music Minister at FBC Vincent in 2021. When selecting music for worship we select music that is scripturally sound and God honoring. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, watching baseball, working in my garden, and fishing.
On Staff and Member of FBC Vincent Since: 2021
Favorite Scripture: One of my favorite Bible verses is Isaiah 40:31 (NIV): 31but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Favorite Hymn: Victory in Jesus
