Message Title: Mothers: reflecting Gods Image

Message Truth: Mothers are considered a divine design meant to reflect God’s nature through nurturing life, providing refuge, and shaping futures.
From a biblical perspective, God views institutions as divinely ordained structures—specifically the family, church, and government—designed to establish order, restrain evil, and promote human flourishing. These institutions are meant to operate within distinct, assigned roles rather than overstepping into one another’s domains.
1.Giving and Nurturing Life- By bringing forth and nurturing new life, mothers act as living metaphors for God as the creator,
Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit[b] gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You[c] must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” John 3:3-8
2.Providing Refuge- Similar to an eagle stirring its nest, mothers protect and guide their children
“As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.” Isaiah 66:13
3.Shaping the Future- motherhood is a “missional way of living,” where mothers make disciples within their own homes and communities.
“Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.” Proverbs 1:8
