Message Truth: We trust God for the ultimate but not the immediate.
Message Text: Matthew 6:9-11
9 “Therefore, you should pray like this:
Our Father in heaven,
your name be honored as holy.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
Two Main Reasons God Wants Us to Ask:
1.Relationship
- Asking is one of the means we build a relationship with God.
- Holy Moments are when you quit thinking about yourself and partner with God with obedient action to love others and bring the Kingdom to their life.
- Moments are small enough to ignore but BIG enough to change your life and others.
2.Empowerment (Dependence)
- Relationship is Gods end game and dependence is God’s plan on us getting there.
- God is a Father not a formula. – It is a relationship with THE Father that changes our lives.
