Message Text: Mark 12:18-37
Message Truth: When we don’t know the Scriptures, we don’t have an anchor for truth and belief. When we don’t know the power of God, we doubt God’s ability to do what He has promised in the Scriptures.
The Sadducees Make Two Mistake:
1.Ignorance of the Scripture
2.Ignorance of the Power of God
We Make Two Mistakes
1.We assume Heaven is just a better version of earth.
2.We assume Earth Can be Heaven.

If you read history you will find that the Christians who did the most for the present world were just those who thought most of the next. It is since Christians have largely ceased to think of the other world that they have become so ineffective in this. C.S. Lewis
What Will Our New Body Be Like?
1 Corinthians 15:42-44
- Perishable to Imperishable (John 11:25-26)
- Dishonorable to Glorious (Matthew 13:43)
- Weak to Powerful (Isaiah 40:31)
- Natural to Spiritual (Romans 8:10-11)
- Our New Body Will Be Like Jesus’ Resurrection Body ( Philippians 3:20-21; 1 John 3:2-3)
Message Application: Know what the Bible teaches and does not teach. Only then can we apply the promises of God to real life.
